4. Free Public Library!
Did you know that Ocean City, MD is home to its own free public library? Enjoy browsing through the library at your own pace, or order online for free curbside pickup. The Ocean City Library also offers virtual summer programs that you and your family can enjoy throughout the school year!

The secret to a truly relaxing beach trip? Wear those kids out with recess at the beach! The weather is beautiful and the water temperature is still warm throughout the month of September, and even into October! Take a dip in the water, or place a game of tag on the beach to help release some of that pent-up energy from a day of schoolwork!
Don’t want to get sandy in the middle of the school day? Take a walk or a bike ride on the Ocean City boardwalk, or visit Northside Park for outdoor sports activities, a walk on the trails, and more!
