The story behind the Off the Hook Restaurant Group begins in 2010 when the Indian River Seafood Company opens the first restaurant Off the Hook in Bethany Beach, Delaware. A year later, Just Hooked opened in Fenwick Island followed with the opening of the first Maryland location, Hooked, in Ocean City, MD. And just when you thought we were running out of Hook names, we did it again — launching Hooked Up Ale House & Raw Bar in Millville, DE in 2015, our fourth restaurant in just five years. With the popularity of the restaurants, Taste Events was formed. Taste Events is the catering division of the Off the Hook Restaurant Group and offers full service catering to allow guests to enjoy our award-winning chefs’ cuisine, not only at events in one of our four restaurant locations but also at off-site events.
Owners Steve Hagen and Kevin Frey have now embarked on a new journey opening their newest location – Tailchasers Restaurant & Dock Bar. Tailchasers sits on the canal of 122nd street offering waterfront views, family-friendly dining, and the fresh, honest, local food and beverages Off the Hook Restaurant Group is known for.
Off the Hook Restaurant Group’s Restaurants and Catering Services are locally run serving the needs of each local community while being a hot spot for the seasonal crowd. The natural atmosphere of the coast continually inspires the chefs to create culinary masterpieces centered on freshness, creativity, and comfort. This company makes the idea of “Farm to Table” a reality for every customer at on-site and off-site events.

Edit to say it was so good we went back yesterday to celebrate my mom’s birthday:
We had a group of 7 and they were able to accommodate quickly. The food was just as good as the first time! It was hands down the best food we had during our ocean city trip! I’m adding more pics of the boom boom shrimp, wedge salad, chicken sandwiche, mahi, calamari pasta, nachos and kid’s quesadilla! Also shout out to Ashley W! She was a great server and made my mom’s day with the dessert and singing!

My family went for dinner yesterday and was blown away by the service, food and discounts! The happy hour discounts they have right now are soo good! I had the butter crusted mahi and it was amazing, the brussel sprouts that came with It were fabulous! The crab dip was also amazing! I tasted my husband’s clams casino, and my mother-in-law’s calamari pasta dish and both of them were delicious!! Cody was our server and he was awesome! It was so good we might go back tonight!!

This has to be one of the BEST Happy Hours in Ocean City. Multiple food options and great discounts for alcohol. We recommend going here. There is a quiet and relaxing environment on the main level. Upstairs is the open bar and lively area. The nachos were a great surprise and done differently than most places. Great caesar salad as well.

We definitely enjoyed their happy hour. When it is crowed the food and drinks are remarkably not as good. The servers are attentive and the atmosphere is pretty good.
