Beach & Boardwalk
Go show those waves who’s boss and doggy paddle along until you tire your tail off! Besides, the hoomans keep throwing their stick in the water so you have to go retrieve it. The Boardwalk is always fun, with all the yummy smells of Thrasher’s Fries, Dumser’s Dairyland Ice Cream, and the chance to see other doggos out on the town.
Local Parks
Besides the beach, there’s plenty of other spots you and your hooman are sure to enjoy. Northside Park in North Ocean City has gorgeous views of the bay with piers to keep the people distracted while you roll around in the grass. There are also walking trails to meet other doggo friends, sports fields, and much more to explore. Assateague Island is open to tackle the waves year-round and soak up the sunshine and salty water. Homer Gudelsky Park - lovingly referred to as Stinky Beach by locals - is on the west side of the bay just outside Ocean City, and it’s always a favorite spot for pups to have a beach day.
Pet-Friendly Places to Eat
Now we’re talking! Where can a good dog get some treats around here? Many of the best spots to eat in Ocean City are also dog-friendly! Let them enjoy a meal at Malia’s Cafe, drinks at Micky Fins Bar & Grill, or dine at De Lazy Lizard, while you lay down in the cool breeze with a chilled bowl of water. Beautiful views, good food and drinks, AND they get to spend time with their favorite pet? Now that’s an off-fur they can’t refuse!
