Spooky season is here! This means that O.C.toberfest is back in Ocean City, Maryland! With events beginning on October 19th and running through the 27th, gear up for another month of exciting events and activities that the entire family will enjoy!
Kicking off the O.C.toberfest celebrations is the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade! The parade will begin at 1 pm on October 19th, starting on the boardwalk near North Division Street. Dress your favorite pooch up in their best costumes, and let them strut their stuff on the boards, or sit back and relax while you cheer on your favorites! During the parade, there will be lots of prizes and fun surprises for you and your pet! Participation in the event is FREE and the Worcester Humane Society will be accepting donations of pet supplies or monetary donations during the parade, plus there might even be a few furry friends with them that are up for adoption!
After the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade is over participants and spectators can pull up their beach chairs and watch the Drive and Disguise Parade! This parade features cars decorated for Halloween, parading down the Boardwalk! The Drive and Disguise Parade will leave 26th Street and Baltimore Ave. at 3 pm and cruise the boardwalk heading south towards North Division Street where participating cars will line up for Trunk or Treating beginning around 3:30 pm! Prizes will be awarded by the Town of Ocean City for the most unique entries.
The fun continues at the Great Pumpkin Race on October 26th at North Division St. and the Boardwalk! Registration begins at noon and the race will start at 1 pm. Build your own pumpkin race car to compete in this fun side-by-side downhill race! Prizes will be awarded in each division, and for creativity.
And don’t forget about the O.C.toberfest Beach Maze! Located at North Division Street and the Boardwalk on October 19-20th and 26-27th! The Beach Maze is FREE and open to children of all ages to navigate the sands of the giant maze! Pirates of the sand, wicked witches, scary scarecrows, zombies, ghouls in the graveyard and more will meet you at every twist and turn for a scary fun time! Hours are 10 am - 5 pm on Saturdays and 10 am - 3 pm on Sundays!
