Very disappointing and saddening experience. After 2 weeks of filling out the application, and a week after visiting in person to make a connection our application was denied due to the basis of "failing to meet requirements." Once we reached out to see what these requirements we failed to meet were, and receive some clarity on the situation, we were completely ignored. No criminal record, own our own house, mid twenties, no kids, plenty of references and a prior relationship with a veterinarian. I truly have no clue what could possibly be the reason that we were declined. It saddens me to think that these animals might be deprived of a home due to wanton choices made by 1 person with no way of receiving clarification. I hope that in the future other people will be able to have a better experience than I have, but would advise anyone to exercise caution.

My daughter visited here to adopt a kitten. Adoption application was denied with no explanation. She emailed and called several times to find out why the appl was denied, got no response. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend!! Would give zero stars if i could. Im happy to say my daughter now has a kitten given to her by a friend, hes adorable.

I’d honestly give them 0 stars if I could. I inquired about a pit bull puppy and called them 3 times during the week I was planning to go adopt. I drove 2 and a half hours to get there to a closed gate, during the operating hours. I called, and did get to meet the puppy but then was told I couldn’t adopt that day. This was confusing because I sent in my application 5days-a week before (their website says it’ll take a max of 3days to accept) I had been calling and talking to workers there and telling them I was coming making sure everything was ok (no one said anything was wrong) only after a 2hour drive for me did they decide to say I drove 2hours for nothing basically, so I had to drive 2hours back home with no new best friend :(
To sum it up their website info is wrong, their workers are incompetent, and it’s impossible to adopt from them.🤷‍♀️
*For this place I’d believe all the reviews, no matter how old.*
