It’s impossible to study there, unless you put head phones on. Older people gather there and use it as a chat room. One day two older men discussed after surgery recovery. The other two older ladies discussed the trip. All that done in full voice. I was seating 35 feet away and was able to hear every single word Really?

Notables:
The nature trail out back is a delightful little walk.
The library itself is brightly lit due to the large windows, making a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere.
Friendly staff!
The Maryland History room is a treasure trove of MD tidbits.
Comfortable seating.
And it's a library, what more could you want?!

Went here today to donate a big box of books. The 2 lady’s at the front desk were very rude! They saw me struggling to open the door but did nothing just sat there and looked at me! I asked them if they take donations and they said yes put them over there and didn’t even say thank you for your donation or anything. Won’t be donating here again that’s for sure.
