The Worcester County Arts Council, Inc. established in 1977, is a private non-profit corporation designated by the County Commissioners and the Maryland State Arts Council to promote and encourage visual, performing and cultural arts in the county.

I have been a member of this gallery for many years and it just keeps getting better. The gallery artists volunteer to assist the many visitors so there is always a fun conversation waiting for you. It is situated in the lovely, old fashioned, small town of Berlin, MD. The perfect spot to stroll down Main street, have lunch, eat an ice cream cone, and visit this delightful gallery. The gallery represents over 25 local artists working with watercolors, acrylics, glass, jewelry, fiber, wood, and more. Rotating shows celebrate the natural beauty of the coast of Maryland in addition to special exhibits. It's a great place to stop in and enjoy an abundance of creativity.

The WCAC has a beautiful gallery located in a charming house at 6 Jefferson Street in Berlin, Maryland. This nonprofit has an artist cooperative comprised of multitalented artists working in many mediums. Come shop for unique, hand crafted and original artwork. Opening receptions for new exhibits are on the second Friday of every month 5-7.
