West Ocean City Injury & Illness Center

Honestly really disappointed with our experience here. The front desk lady was so miserable to us for no reason, and it just made everything more stressful when you’re already not feeling well.
The biggest issue, however, was the lack of communication. We were told that a prescription had been sent to CVS, but when we arrived, the pharmacy had no record of it. This caused unnecessary delays and added stress while trying to get medication. We called two days later to see if they would be able to transfer it to our home pharmacy since we were already on our way home at that point they told me they were going to send it to the pharmacy.. I called the pharmacy near our house and they told us that they had no record of the prescription either.. When I called back and told this office that they told me that the prescription was sent around 2 and they would try again.. there was NO prescription at the pharmacy yet again.. it’s been a complete nightmare at this point, trying to get this prescription sent over to our pharmacy.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and lacking in proper follow-through. I hope improvements are made, especially when it comes to communication and patient care.

I was there just before closing for a deep cut in my finger. The intake person was friendly and helpful, the nurse was professional and personable and the physicians asst was professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and thoughtful. Highly recommend them
