Was pleasantly surprised when we stopped by the Sterling Tavern! Was a bit colder inside than out so we choose patio seating.
Our server Victoria was very sweet, and was quick to give us our drinks and take our order.
I ordered the truffle goat cheese flatbread while my s.o. ordered the bri burger. I ended up adoring the burger, and I'm not a terribly big fan of them in general. The fig really made it a wonderful piece. The flatbread was good, I do wish the truffle flavor had been more prominent.
Overall lovely place, great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend :)

Great local hangout! The interior is intimate and the exterior has ample outdoor dining! The service, food and vibe was all positive. Definitely recommend for out of towners on and off season.

We recently finally had the opportunity to have dinner at the sterling tavern in the town of Berlin with some friends last Saturday evening. We were delighted that we didn’t have to wait to be seated.Our server was prompt getting to our table and taking our drink orders and then appetizers. We opted to dine outside being the weather was unseasonably warm, perfect humidity and best of all no flys or insects were buzzing around. The setting is casual and comfortable but honestly I personally did not get to check out the inside of the establishment. Our guests seemed to enjoy their dinner. I had ordered the fish and chips selecting the rock fish option over the flounder. I didn’t want to complain being with new friends but my rock fish was very thin and dry over cooked. So I wasn’t very impressed with my selection. But we had an enjoyable time. I had heard nothing but good things about the establishment from Friends that dine there often. My platter was disappointing because I had high expectations . I should have sent it back so I can’t really complain much and am not going pass judgment because of it. Everything else was good. Prices were pretty decent, average. Service was very good. I’m willing to give it another try but at this time I would go out of my way.
