The Shark on the Harbor Restaurant
The shark was highly disappointing. What a dump!! We were greeted by a dilapidated parking lot and building, containers with dead plant material and sad American Flags, greasy handrails, Unsafe, stairs, torn window screen, handicapped sign, stuck in an old barrel. We expected a night of high end dining in a high-end restaurant. The food was very good. The atmosphere was terrible. The bar is in the center of the dining area and it’s very noisy. The bathrooms were disgusting. The inside Of the restaurant is in need of maintenance-dangling Tiny white lights were in operable in many of the windows. It is unfortunate that the chef is operating in such a neglected facility! He/ She deserves better!!

We made a reservation for a Friday evening and had a great meal. They have a tiny little parking lot out front but we had no issues finding a spot. The restaurant is somewhat small, and has a quaint fishing harbor vibe. The restaurant is directly on the harbor and you can get some great family/group pictures there.
The menu changes and during our visit we ordered the halibut, the swordfish, and a garden salad with crab cake. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. They brought out an amuse bouche and bread for the table. Service is attentive and friendly.
Prices are a bit higher than what you'll find on the main drag, but the quality is certainly there. This would be great for a couples dinner, family dinner, or celebration. They also have a kids menu for the littles however our 10 year old is at the "I'm not a kid stage" 😂, he ordered off the main menu.

We came for the local rotating menu! We made reservations and showed up a half hour early and were still seated right away. We were given a chefs appetizer of a tuna guac tortilla chip, it was a delicious little surprise. My husband had a burger and I had steak, although pricy it was delicious. He had a burger which he enjoyed but has had better. Drinks were special and delicious as well, beer is more well priced than their liquor beverages. The crab cakes though were to die for. We left stuffed and happy.
