My family and I stopped in for lunch and it was a wonderful experience! Lori was our server and she was great! She had great recommendations and was friendly and attentive! I loved her vibe! Very down to earth! The food was also great! Most of us got breakfast and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I loved the crab omelette! My husband got a personal pizza and he said it was delicious (which says a lot coming from him!) we will definitely visit again in future trips to OC!!

$5 slice of pizza, it tasted like pizza, dough, pepperoni, tomatoe sauce, and cheese. It isn't like the greatest and most awesome slice you'll ever have.

But the slice of pizza is as pizza as you can get for your pizza cravings. Nothing special, just pizza.

For pizza place that owns the OC territory, am surprised it wasn't unique, its just plain pizza…

GOOD: Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant has an inner carnival charm that brings back childhood

BAD: I don't want to slam too hard because I enjoyed my relaxing booth and views, but the food was bad. The pizza had a generic whitish crust and no taste as a whole. The fries tasted bag frozen with only the chili adding some flavor.

The Dough Roller was an unfortunate case where the service and atmosphere carried the stars, not the food.

If DR, wants to improve, they need to step up on ingredients. I couldn't finish - and I wanted too :(

Perhaps their pancakes and sandwiches are better. DR could be a great place to take some hungry kids by the beach, but for the adults, the pizza and fries won't impress.
