We had a fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, the hotel was spotless, got service for the room EVERY DAY and the location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach. Everything was smooth and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again! The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Great location, just a short walk to the 35th street beach access. Pet and kid friendly!

Room was spacious & clean. You would think a pet friendly place might smell bad, but it did not! Comfy beds, great AC, clean bathroom. Water pressure was a bit weak in our room- but you get decent soap & shampoo if you don't bring your own. Shower above us leaked into the bathroom, but maintenance came & quickly solved the issue (bathroom on floor above ours was very wet when someone showered with curtain open). Electronic key card entry, but no chain lock on our door- the chain was there, but the part to attach it to the door was missing. Short walk to the beach. Clean pool. Convenient parking. They also had some great free vouchers that gave us nice discounts on Fishers Popcorn, Thrashers Fries, Hooper's Crab House (although PGN crab house nearby is walkable, old school & yummy) & Jolly Roger Mini Golf (a short walk). They are co-owned with the much larger Castle in the Sand. I'm taking a star away because The Beach House Restaurant at CIIS was only fair. Calling it a "beach house" is quite a stretch- it looks like someone decided to turn a basement into a restaurant. You have to walk down the hot & dirty-looking non-air-conditioned stairwell to get there. The logo shows an actual beach house- a bit deceptive. The walls have murals of the beach, but it is windowless with fairly forgettable food. $16.50 for what is essentially the kind of breakfast buffet you get for free at many hotels outside of a resort. Nobody is making omelets here, unless you buy one a la carte off the regular menu. Yes, they have the hotel waffle machine. Fruit seemed like it was put away the day before & put back the morning we were there. Time for these buffets to offer veggie sausage too. Not everyone eats pigs & turkeys. It was an easy walk, but there are many superior breakfast options. Nice staff with foreign university students- so common nowadays. Barefoot again? Yes! Beach House Restaurant? Nope!
