My mom, fiancé, and I went on one of the Assateague Island cruises. It was really nice, but I definitely wish it would have been longer and maybe we could have gone further down the bay. We did spend some time in the regular harbor learning about fishing vessels and restaurants which was alright. One thing I wish though is that the tour guides actually knew more about the island. They mentioned how there was a contest going on on Assateague to name one of the new fouls which was completely false (maybe he meant on Chincoteague? But that is not how it works on Assateague). Also we saw a foul and they named the wrong mare as it's mother. There were some educational things though having to do with certain crabs and other sea life that they had on the ship, which was nice. It is definitely worth it to go for a chance to the North side band of horses.

Our captain John, and narrator were both great guys!
Was a wonderful boat ride of Assateague Island, saw ponies, got to use nets to sift in the bay.
Kids were able to take 2 shells from the bucket.
Didn't get to see any dolphins.
Highly recommend.

Awesome place to do water activities! Has boat tours, jetsking, parasailing, and more. Went on the Assateague Island Tour with and had an amazing time. Staff and captain were awesome, very friendly, and informative about the things we rode past, such as docked boats, restaurants, animals, the island itself, and more! We were also able to get off the boat and hunt for shells at some point, which you are allowed to keep. Overall, I had a great and educational time learning about a bunch of different things as the tour went, and I highly recommend going.
