The Surf Villa Hotel has been a landmark in Ocean City since the 1920s. The hotel is conveniently located near the boardwalk and within walking distance to the amusement parks, shops, restaurants, marinas, and most of Ocean City's great attractions. One of our best features however, is that we are only 300 feet from one of the most magnificent beaches on the East Coast.

We invite you to enjoy the lovely ocean view from the rocking chairs on our front porch. Each morning we also invite you to join us in our family style lobby for coffee, tea, and conversation. We encourage a family atmosphere and welcome families, groups, and other organizations.

Each of our 25 rooms and our available apartment is unique in design, has a color TV with forty channels, and air conditioning. Our staff is available 24 hours to assist you and give you personalized attention.

You will surely enjoy staying at the Surf Villa. It is a clean and comfortable hotel which all visitors say has a personal touch.

The view from the Porch is nice. The person in the front desk was nice. Other than that nothing else good to say. The place was not cheap for one night, but we thought it was a convenient location which is why we chose it blindly. The place is run down trash around the side of the property. It does not have enough parking and you have to pay for the parking separately. $15 for parking and it is two blocks away. The bed linens were stained and the towels in the bath had hair, but we did not touch them. I would not recommend this location.

Great location, minutes from boardwalk & ocean. But looked like a house, converted into a motel. Very shabby, dated, narrow, steep staircases. Electric combo lock was tricky to access and didn't lock from outside. Pay to park on premises was $15, no mention of this in the add. Not enough parking behind property, and desk attendant said there was an overflow lot just steps away. It was very confusing to find and more like a couple of blocks away...too far and area a little sketchy to be dragging luggage thru the street. Bed and pillows very old and stained. Just a lightweight piece of material on window that was street facing, which prompted me to turn off lights while changing, as it was likely see thru from street. One wall outlet that I noticed, and seemed way overloaded.

Bathroom was very dated, with rusted shower rod, missing towel rod, broken tiles and chipped shower stall...I didn't bother using it because it was too gross. Toilet was extremely low...felt almost like I was squatting, and toilet paper holder was a mere few inches from floor. Old, dank smell in the room.

On the plus side, the AC was cold. Towels were clean, floors were old but real hardwood.

I would not stay here again.

Budget hotel. Can see the beach/boardwalk entrance from the front entrance. It is a stone throw away.

Free street parking in the area, though pay a convenience fee to use hotel parking.

Spacious room, tight bathroom space. The bathroom floor needed repairs--tight standing shiwer space. Curtain rod missing. Bring your own bathroom essentials like shampoo and conditioner.
