Ocean City’s newest park is a promenade with native shore planting areas with a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, Assateague Island, the Sinepuxent Bay and Ocean City Commercial Harbor. The stage at Sunset Park is home to concerts and gatherings in the summer and early fall.

This review isn't exactly for Sunset Park, but rather what is adjacent to it...the Dog Beach. It's a hidden gem, and a must for anybody who takes their pup to the beach with them. Nothing was going on in the park when we went, but in years past I heard live music there. One of the photos below shows a part of Sunset Park. The other two show the Dog Beach.

Beautiful park on the bayside. Great spot to see the sunset. Has benches to sit and relax. Public restrooms.

Sunset park is a great spot for a stroll cause you can see Assateague Island, boats, and may run across a free concert In the summer. Just to the south if you bring your dog is a beach for pets. The bathrooms are open in the summer. Easy walk to Trimper rides and the Inlet parking lot.
