Sun Outdoors Ocean City

We stayed at Sun Outdoors Ocean City for six nights (May 30–June 5, 2026), and this was our first visit. We have always stayed at Frontier Town in the past, which we also love, but we found Sun Outdoors Ocean City to be a wonderful alternative. While it's certainly great for families with children, we appreciated that there were activities and amenities geared toward adults as well.

The resort was amazing. Since it was a bit off-season, it was quieter than normal, which we actually enjoyed. Even so, there was still live entertainment at the Tiki Bar, the pool, kitchen and pool bar were open, camp store, etc. and everything was well maintained. The beach was beautiful, and as dog owners, we especially loved the dog beach and the well-kept dog parks.

We also love the Berlin, Maryland area, where there is always something to see and do.

What really stood out was the staff. When we arrived, I realized I had booked a site that was a little off the beaten path. The staff took the time to show us several alternatives and helped us move to a different site that better suited us. To our surprise, the new site was actually less expensive, and they even issued a refund for the difference. They couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating, and friendly throughout the process.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommend Sun Outdoors Ocean City to families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway.

The sites are large. This is not a campground for those who want quiet. I enjoyed hearing the band from my site. The bark beach is small but does the job. My husband enjoyed the pool. Make sure you bring tons of fly swaters and bug repellent as this was the buggiest campground I've ever been to. It wasnt a bad stay at all.

We had just purchased a 40' diesel pusher the week before, so we wanted to do a "test" camp, and we love Ocean City and Assateague, so we decided to choose the Berlin campground. Thank you SO much for helping us with our first camp. The staff was amazing! The location was very close to Assateague and Ocean City. There was a tiny municipal airport close by, but that didn't bother us at all. We stayed on a Monday through Thursday, and since it was offseason, nothing was open until Thursday, so we didn't get to try out the cafe, etc. Next time, we will! Thank you once again for such a great experience.
