Summer Breeze

I purchased an umbrella there for $80 which was fine because it was a big umbrella. I was charged $84.79 with tax yet when I got home a few days later and looked at my bank account. I would charge $87.97. I did try calling the number on the receipt and it was a cell phone that did not have the ability to leave voicemail so I went to the Web and looked them up. The number listed for the store is no longer in service. These guys are shady.

I purchased several bottles of suntan lotion for a friend. Finding out afterward that she had purchased the same bottles at Marshall’s for $6.99. I had paid $13.99 each. I tried to returned the merchandise and had a receipt where I paid cash. They refused stating their policy (typed very small on the counter top) indicated no refunds only store exchanges. I didn’t see the sign when I was there the first time. I’m sure the merchandise covered it up (I would have needed glasses to see it.) I got absolutely no where with the manager or the store employees. I have been going in that store every time I’m at the beach and we have stayed many many times at Holiday Inn there. I bought my favorite OC shirt there. I will NEVER walk in that store again. Your loss. Hope it was worth it!

Prices are high, but that is to be expected since it is directly on the boardwalk. One of the larger stores this far down the boardwalk, lots of things to browse and purchase
