Just eight miles west of Ocean City, Maryland on Route 50, Stephen Decatur High School is the largest of Worcester County's three high schools, with an enrollment of nearly 1400 students. Centered around a solid foundation of academic coursework in the areas of language, science, math, and social sciences, Decatur students also have access to new technologies and fine arts opportunities in theatrics, music, and the visual arts. We have a first-class cadet program, sponsored by the United States Government, which provides wide-ranging leadership training. More than anything, Stephen Decatur High School is about providing the opportunity to each and every one of our students, which shows in their accomplishments.

Worst school ever! My life was perfectly fine before I came here, then everything came crashing down. I was bullied and felt like everyone hated me everyday. Then people who I called my "friends" only wanted to do drugs, like get high, snort coke, and get drunk. I didn't want to be that person, I wanted to rise above that. So I asked my mom to pull me out of school because teachers didn't want to help me, I was being bullied and no one would do anything about it, and because of the drugs being passed around in that school. So if I were the person reading this right now I would think twice about putting your kids in this school! Thank you for listening๐
