This was on my list of places to visit when pre-planning my trip to Ocean City. We visited the Boardwalk a couple times prior in the week and I don't believe they were open as we arrived late and during the off season. However, on our last day they were open and we were able to stop in! So much great stuff! A great location for Ocean City souvenirs, home décor, shirts, shells, toys, and gifts. This is where we got a glass jar to fill with sand and shells from our trip. They also have lots of wind chimes. Just lots of stuff to look at and shop for. A must visit when on the Boardwalk Ocean City!

My son purchased a wooden sword Thurs, June 15. The sheath of the sword had split. This item was not misused. On Sat morning June 17 we tried to either exchange the sword or get a refund. The cashier, a tall young girl said "no refunds unless purchased a few minutes ago" and refused to get the manager. She told us to step aside. The manager just happened to walk by and we asked him for an exchange or refund. At this time there was no policy stated on the receipt or store stating "no refunds or exchanges". He said no. He did offer half price for a new one, but we felt that was not satisfactory. He walked away in mid conversation. The cashier then threatened to have us removed from the store by force. At no point was the conversation on our end hostile or aggressive. I find the behavior of both the cashier and the manager to be very poor and unprofessional. Especially when dealing with a mother with two children and an elderly grandmother. We will never come here again. The quality of items and most importantly the staff are very poor. I rarely write a review, but this experience was very bad..

Ok, so this shop has been around since I was a little girl which is to say cautiously pushing 50. The minute I saw that the place was still here, i grabbed the wife and proceeded to make a beeline to this store much to the amusement of the folks.
Walking inside felt like going into a time capsule. It had not changed a bit and that felt reassuring. Still crowded. Still full of people looking for something to return home with. Same array of ocean themed objects that one would expect at the beach. The wife picked up a straw hat which she only reluctantly took off a few days ago and other assorted trinkets. The only thing I noticed that had changed (and with good reason) was that they were no longer selling sparklers and those little pea sized papers filled with gunpowder that you would throw on the ground to hear a popping sound. What can I say, my generation remembers lawn darts which were also dangerous. ^_^'
So then. If you're looking for some piece of the beach, this is your place. Will probably outlive all of us too.
