Southwind Apartments

This was the worst experience of my life. You can see the Corona virus in the air. Please view these photo and make your own assumption.They charged me for one night when I requested my money back for both night. The owner refuse to see these pics so I posted them for everyone. This place is dirty and everything was falling apart. On yelp they are listed as closed however on booking you can book. I went to the office to complain and the owner was very nasty with me. I explained that the room was dirty, I didn't want to get charged for any damaged property so I began to film and take pics in which she refuse to see. The mattress were dirty and they tryed to cover it up. The ad on booking is very misleading. My accommodation were for three bedroom with standard beds I got child size bunk beds for 5 adults Please don't ever support this business.....if you care about your family health and safety.

I’ll tell you the pros and cons of this place after spending a weekend here in September of 2019. First top lock of the main front door does not work. One of the bedrooms doors is missing a knobs. Second the toilet seat for the restroom does not stay up, and the mirror in the bathroom does not stay close over the sick. In addition the bathroom are extremely small. The beds are super hard but clean. Parking does not exist but street parking is available. I would recommend if you’re coming with your college friends or cheap vacation. But if you’re bring your family I would not

Will I be staying again HELL NO! If you want to be constantly searching or fighting for space this is your place! When I booked it clearly stated there was on sit parking. There isn't! You'll either have to fight over parking or pay 20-50 dollars a night to park in the front parking lot that belongs to a bar. Housekeeping never came around in the 3 night I stayed! I constantly asked for a broom and was told they don't provide anything. The floors were filled of sand that everyone brought back with them and we couldn't do anything about it! It wasn't until the last day that I spotted a housekeeper cleaning a room someone had checked out and asked for a broom, and was given one! I expected more, and I want to make it clear that I paid more than my experience was worth! (About $950)
