South Beach Apartment

We've stayed here a couple of times. It's pretty clean. Love that it has all the amenities - washer and dryer, dish washer, full fridge, stove/oven, etc. Our washer leaked when in use, so that was problematic, but everything else was fine. There is plenty of space for our family of 5.
It's a pretty good location for those who like car watching. About 2 blocks from the boardwalk/beach. The pricing could be a bit more competitive as someone who likes to feel like they get a good deal. I also wish they included a few more cleaning supplies - think sample sizes (laundry detergent, soap or dishwasher pods, ect) like other properties we've stayed at. You will have to bring or purchase those things while down there. All in all, I would recommend just plan for what you'll want to bring along or buy down there.
*edited to add* Although they advertise smart tvs, they're useless because the wifi isn't strong enough for them to work. I'm so glad I downloaded a few things on my kids' tablet for them to watch before we were there.

Great price for a cute little place. It has everything you need, is comfortable and somewhat soundproof. It could use a deep cleaning. Would stay there again.

I gave two stars because of the great location. Wow, this place was dirty. I had to clean it myself when I got here. 🤢 So we booked at the motel but we were upgraded to the South beach apartments, Madison beaches other property across the road. I was happy to see the nice pictures online of the apartment. Then we got here and I was disappointed. The front desk person was ok. The power went out for about 45 minutes but that's not their fault. Not sure about any cleaning or maintenance staff.
First, the location is perfect. Love that part, close to the beach and boardwalk. The apartment itself, smelled musty and NOT even cleaned! I had to clean the kitchen counters, sweep the floors and wipe off the door due to dirty hand print on the inside. The floors were dirty, and the carpets in the bedrooms were disgusting. The walls have greasy stains on them and the back of the front door had some kind of food like stuff on it too! The furniture is super old and so dirty! Omg! I sprayed Lysol all over this place! No one walked around without shoes on. The cups, dishes, silverware had to be washed as there was some stuff on them. The beds were terrible! I'm glad I brought sheets and blankets from home! There is no plunger in the bathroom and they couldn't come for over an hour to unclog the toilet! The front of the apartment has a light that can't be turned off which I understand but there was an infestation of flying ants on the door, the beach towels we hung outside and some other things out there. There are dents on the freezer door and it was sticky to open. Ugh! The washer and dry were so loud we didn't even want to use it. They said there is no daily maid service but wow! At least clean before someone checks in.
I don't think we will be staying here ever again!
