A Smith Island Cruise is a fun and inexpensive way to explore Smith Island, Maryland. With a shore and fun boat ride on our cruise boats (about a 45 minute ride) you will arrive at one of the last frontiers of Maryland history! the boat leaves daily from Crisfield, MD at 12:30pm and returns to Crisfield at 4:30pm.

Girlfriend and I both have seen the sign for the cruise down near Point Lookout many times over the years, but neither of us had actually done the trip until the weekend before last. We went on a Sunday, and thankfully the weather was cooperative both ways between the island and the Point Lookout Marina. A cell tower was recently installed on the island, so you may actually have reception; we both did. The food at the restaurant where you dock was awesome! Captain was communicative during the cruise and provided interesting insight into the area. For all the time, fuel, etc., I feel that the ticket price was very fair.

We cruised from Point Lookout and enjoyed our boat ride both to/from Smith Island. The captain narrated various points of interest, and we were docked right at the primary restaurant on Smith Island. The boat offers both indoor and outdoor seating options and coolers were provided to transport cold items off the Island.

First time visiting Smith Island, what a hidden gem. The cruise from Crisfield to Smith Island was perfect. Saw many rays surfing the bow wave, as well as sea nettles, pelicans, cormorants, Osprey and gulls. Can't wait to come back.
