Scoops Ice Cream

i am not one to typically complain let alone make a google review, but our experience was a joke!!! on the sign, cherry coke was an option for the ice cream floats, so i ordered a float with cherry coke. the girl at the counter looked at me like i was insane and said “we don’t have that here”. i didn’t argue and said ok, ill take a rootbeer (which is not on the menu board btw!!). my mom ordered a peanut butter sundae that was to be made with peanut butter ripple ice cream which is why she ordered it. the girl started making it with peanut butter cup, which had chocolate ice cream with it. she told the girl that is not what the menu said and she seemed offended. she asked them to make her the oreo one instead. they handed it out and it did not have the two deep fried oreos as listed on the menu, so she told them. the girl claimed she did not know it came with deep fried Oreos…her ice cream sundae, which was $13.50, was served in a paper boat that you would be served a hotdog in at a baseball game. we had about a block to walk back to the hotel and it was melted through the bottom and leaking out of the sides. who serves ice cream in a paper boat?!? my ice cream float had about 2 ounces of soda and was about half full of ice cream for $10.50….for $25 i definitely expect a better experience, but save yourself the time and money and find literally anywhere else.

We have been on vacation for 5 days now and have been to this ice cream shop 4 of those days. Com and Fran did a great job every time and were very friendly. We will stop by here every time we vacation to OC. Thanks guys

Atmosphere was cute- great location on the boardwalk. They also make fresh waffle cones- ssoo good. My only complaint is the prices! It cost us $22 for a waffle cone "sundae" and a single scoop in a cup
