Another great visit to this wonderful place! So much to do for the whole family. Lights and decorations everywhere, Santa, train ride, tree maze, food trucks, live music, sledding hill, skating, huge fake snowball fight area. Lots of things for kids to do hands on or climb on. Parents beware - the kids will totally target you relentlessly in the snowball area. But the fun is you can pelt them back without hurting and everyone is giggling. Crafts, adult beverage options including spiked hot chocolate. This is a village of fun and our family has enjoyed for several years. We will be back and highly recommend to all.

It's a pretty impressive event. We were supposed to go one evening, but apparently, it rained there, but not close by where we lived, and they canceled the event. So we were very disappointed, to say the least. So we went the next day in the afternoon opening. We experienced what it could have been but was not. All the neat shops were buttoned up, and except for a pretzel shop, we found little to munch on with 4 grand kids (who are always hungry, it seems.)

But, we only had a short time to spend as my daughter and grandkids were leaving for home soon.

It is an enjoyable event, but I would highly recommend getting tickets for the evening. The afternoon was kind of a wasted effort.

FYI, dogs are not allowed. My dog is a service dog

Schellville is such a joyful experience. There is plenty to do for all age groups. I have enjoyed going to the new location for the last couple of years. Admission is free. There are paid things to do like skating and train rides. There are food trucks and alcohol vendors. As well as local artisan selling their lovely wares. Firepits are plentiful if you need to sit a bit and warm up. I love Schellville and am looking forward to next year already.
