The atmosphere is Tuscan chic, from the stone accents, to the orange hued walls; you may envision yourself in a winery in Tuscany, Italy, instead of Fenwick island. That’s just what Fenwick Wine Cellars wants you to think! Take your perceptions on wine; your visions of the perfect sip, and visit Fenwick Wine Cellars. They’re ready for your palate.

Located just off of Rt 54. in Fenwick Island, just west of Smitty McGee’s and next to Mio Fratello’s Italian Steakhouse.

I really liked going to the vineyard for wine. an alternative to going to the beach and drinking beer. Very nice selection of wines. Not homemade tasting at all. Nice atmosphere. Outdoor or indoor. The hotdog truck, Carl's gourmet dogs, was a disappointment. Just cheap regular hotdogs with good toppings. So I give them 3 stars. But the vineyard has different food trucks attending.

Unsophisticated, pedestrian, rude, classless...to clarify, those words best describe the employees and wine. Two stars for the buttery chardonnay and young lady that provided the chiller on the patio! I was with a friend (club member) and we ordered a couple of bottles and waters. The employees should not get confrontational with customers, i.e., "people steal the chillers" and recounting stories of "when I worked at a restaurant, people used to steal the salt and pepper shakers." Really?? Is this the type of patrons that come here? Did this employee work at McDonalds before? I asked for the Merlot at room temp...and the woman wanted to dispute my wishes...why would I want my Merlot chilled? Just be respectful of customers...and not treat them poorly. I am the one with disposable income! ;)
I've seen this problem twenty years ago with the upstart Virgina wine scene as it was difficult to employ people with manners, couth, and customer service skills. I will not return. I downgraded my review to one star as your employees pissed me off!

Wine was okay. However, pictures posted of the Charcuterie plater was extremely misleading. The picture posted must have been food brought in to the winery. The picture below is the $15 charcuterie platter offered at the winery. I would recommend not wasting your money on the food.
