The staff are literally the nicest people ever. So polite, so helpful without hesitation. The rooms are a little small, but fine for two people. It's right on the boardwalk, it's very convenient, we walked everywhere. I recommend "pizza boy", "Crepe daddy", and "Shenanigans" for food in walking distance.
The rooms were clean, the staff kindly gave me new sheets daily, as there was always sand in them. They treated our belongings with respect, and the owner is happy to make fresh coffee for guests. Sometimes there's cookies put out for guests, too. He also has a cute dog.
The fridge and microwave were super helpful, as portions on the boardwalk are large and leftovers save money.
Anyway, I would stay here again. It was so much cleaner than the previous hotel we stayed in Salisbury, and late nights on the balcony were very peaceful.

Love this hotel! Incredibly convenient as it is steps from the board walk. Want to catch a Sunrise? They have balconies overlooking the ocean, open to all guests. Prices are incredible—I challenge anyone to find a better deal. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and shops/restaurants just a short walk. The staff is very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. I have been staying here nearly every year since 2014, sometimes a few times a year. I drive in from DC with my dogue de Bordeaux and have enjoyed every stay. Thank you, Safari team!

This last-minute low-cost booking turned out to be a great value. Ocean-view (side view from room) ended up great, and shared ocean front shaded deck more than made up for lack of ocean front private deck. For significant savings and value over Hyatt, Marriott Courtyard, etc, for a short stay, this won’t disappoint. Make sure to spend extra for the ocean view, because the non view rooms have no view. Management were very helpful when needed.
