Ocho Rios Jerk and Tings

I’ve ordered from this place at least five times over the past couple of years, and the food is absolutely incredible. The seasoning and tenderness of their jerk chicken are unmatched - it’s truly one of the few spots in Ocean City that serves homemade-quality dishes.

However, I do feel that the portion sizes don’t quite justify the prices. I always order takeout or delivery, and I consistently receive two large cups of rice with only a small amount of jerk chicken. Often, most of the pieces are bone, so you’re lucky if you get half a portion of actual meat. Don’t get me wrong, the flavor is excellent and the chicken is always well-cooked—but for $25, I end up mostly eating rice and beans.

Today, I also tried their jerk chicken pasta, which was fantastic. The ratio of pasta, chicken, and sauce was just right. I highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for an Alfredo-style dish with a flavorful jerk kick.

Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant. I just hope they improve their delivery portions, especially the rice-to-chicken ratio. Based on the photos I’ve seen, the dine-in portions seem to have a much better balance.

One of our fave places to stop by when we are in town. Everything is authentic and so delicious. The oxtail is great, Pattie’s are great, jerk chicken is great and the stew chicken is great. The plantain are perfectly cooked and the Sorrel is delicious. The ginger lemonade is also really good. We’ve eaten there and we’ve done take out before and haven’t been disappointed. Don’t go in there with any attitude. Be kind and try it out!

Everything we ordered was delicious. The red snapper curry is the reason, I will be back. Don't let the modest look of the restaurant fool you. The flavors and service were top notch. Do not miss the opportunity to eat here.
