Just went there last Thursday 4/4. I've read the reviews and I've gotta say my experience was very positive. The staff was very friendly and even informed us that the greens had been punched a couple days earlier (still rolled great). Got out earlier than our tee time because a foursome let us go since it was two of us. Course was soggy because of the monsoon this entire month, so we knew that going in. Course was in great shape and fun to play! Every fairway divot had sand in it, so the crew and players are taking care of it.

The management and staff here should be ashamed, I’ve taken my family here for years and have always felt the staff has been pushy and rude throughout the experience, but this last trip is the straw that broke the camels back. My daughter (31) took my granddaughter (6) to play and learn the game I love, when I saw her come home with a certain look on her face she didn’t even need to explain. The older man on cart staff has always been a blemish on ocean pines golf and after snooping and eventually confronting my daughter over a container only carrying items for my granddaughter I’m officially saying goodbye to ocean pines golf course. I’ve played here for over 10 years but no longer. Golf is a sport for all to enjoy and when a cranky old man is scarring away the youth, trying to be as rude as possible to them, all while being as miserable as possible, it’s time to make a change. That being said, I love the course, a lot of the staff. (Especially the younger man on cart staff) ocean pines golf has a lot to offer but a few bad eggs who genuinely dislike the young players and youth have completely made my family feel unwelcome. It could be base on what we look like but i think it’s simpler than that. Replace the problem.

Great shape and challenging course. But $90 weekdays and $120 weekends is way out of line. Other and better courses are available for same or less money
