We are staying at a 2nd street hotel and witnessed several life guards saving the lives of 3 people. The waves were crazy and the 3 men were way far out in the ocean, which was scary, post storm. It was amazing what the guards did, risking their own lives to rescue these individuals that were not able to make it in to the shore. What a tremendous harrowing act of bravery. They deserve such recognition.

Jack, the lifeguard on 92nd street is doing a fantastic job on such a rough water day. He explained the rip currents to everyone and hasn’t taken his eyes off the water all day. Thanks, Jack!
