The signs saying "Nothing over 5.99 brings you in but it's all a lie. The girl on the floor was very rude. Didn't want to be bothered to look for size and color needed. Paid $19.62 total for one pullover hoodie with decal. Still cheap for a hoodie but not what they advertise, and the customer service is HORRIBLE

I’d give no stars if that was an option. This place is so ridiculously bad.

Was looking to purchase a plain tie dye long sleeve tshirt but the sales associate told me it would be $45. Even with the sign stating “nothing over $5.99” I was prepared to spend $15-$20 for a shirt. However, $45 for one shirt (glidan brand) was absolutely absurd. I questioned it and the lame excuse given was that I needed to put a decal on it which made no sense. Less money for the shirt if I put a decal on it?! The sales associate said they’d ask the manager, literally took a lap around not talking to anyone and came back to tell me $45 was the lowest they’d sell. I left snd they followed me out going down $5 until it got to $30 but I kept walking. Not interested in this scam of a place.

I was drawn to the Cool Topics 6 9 N. Atlantic Avenue, Ocean City, MD location because of the $5.00 signs throughout the store. Who doesn't like a bargain!?! Anyway, these signs are very misleading and fraudulent. I purchased 3 items all of which had signs indicating the price as $5.00 each (a beach towel, hooded sweatshirt and a sundress) and the total of my bill was $27.55. I asked why so high and was told that was the total bill. I pointed out that each item I purchased had a $5.00 sign posted and the cashier's only explaination was that she was aware and would have to speak with management about it. I told her this was deceptive! The sundress was the only item that I was charged $5.00 for and I wasn't happy. I decided to purchase the items anyway because they were gifts but I won't be going back to Cool Topics 6 anymore.

DO NOT SHOP AT ANY COOL TOPICS 6 locations anyway! They shouldn't be in business BECAUSE PRICES ARE MISLEADING, DECEPTIVE AND NOT $5.00!!!
