M.R. Ducks Bar and Grille in downtown Ocean City, Maryland, located on 311 Talbot Street and the bay. Just a few blocks from the crowds of the beach and boardwalk you will find the unique charm of M.R. Ducks bar and grille. The gazebo style bar is built over the water to help keep you cool on those hot summer days.

We are open the first good weather weekend in April and close the last week of October. We have live entertainment 4-8 on weekends in the summer. Never a cover charge. M.R. Ducks is the where the locals and summer vacationers flock to see the best entertainment in Ocean City. Weekday happy hour specials from 4-7pm and discounted drink prices all the time.

M.R. Ducks grille features our C. M. wangs. Our take on the chicken wing with 10 sauces to choose from. Great atmosphere and good service. You can watch the activity at the pier, sitting waterfront, while you’re having a drink. The crab cake sandwich (“3rd gen recipe…”) was really bad, though. Very fishy. Didn’t make me sick, but the smell did turn my stomach a bit and I only ate a couple of bites. The French fries were delicious. I’d return for the drinks and atmosphere. But I’d skip the crab cake sandwich next time.

This review is solely for the shop, not the bar and grill! The bar and grill is fantastic! Wonderful food and people. I purchased two shirts from the shop on the actual boardwalk. The girls on the boardwalk were great, they just didn’t have the sizes I needed. On Friday 10/24/25 we went into this shop to exchange 2 items bought from the other store on the boardwalk. Upon walking in we were met with glares from 2 women, a young mixed girl and an older white lady, both were deep in conversation and too busy to acknowledge us when we walked in. In fact, they both stopped talking and just stared at us when we said hello. Asking her if they had a different size for my shirts was apparently too much work for her, I think she even sighed at one point. I told my family members to put back their items and to not spend a dime in there. Which is sad because not only are we local (not that that should matter, we buyers keep you open) but we’ve been coming there for as long as they’ve been open. You lost customers today because of your poor attitudes, and I know they all aren’t like this but those 2 really did it for us. So instead of spending money at this location, we went all the way up to 140th to see Angie who was fantastic! You guys really need to have a talk with your employees about their attitudes. As long as those 2 from Friday are working, we won’t give you our business.

Good seafood options, also some nonseafood options (grilled chicken/burgers/apps) great drinks - popular for "chug a duck". On the dock bayside with smaller outdoor seating area and bar space (no indoor dining). I wouldn't recommend it for "all weather". Gift shop on-site as well as room rentals. Neighboring restaurants can be accessed easily; tourist cruises/boat rides often board here. Easy, short enough, walk to the boardwalk crossing a busy street (crosswalk & traffic light controlled)
