Family serving families since 1965. We are situated on 4.7 lush acres in West Ocean City MD. Long Acres family resort is located conveniently in a quiet park-like setting just off Route 50 and Herring Creek and less than 2 miles from the beach and the world-famous Ocean City Boardwalk. Long Acres Motel and Cottages features a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere. Along with tons of amenities, Long Acres is a place to vacation not just to stay on vacation.
While convenient to beach activities, our resort is a welcome relief from the congestion of the city. Plenty of free parking is available for cars, RV's, boats, and trailers. Long Acres, nestled on Herring Creek, offers the only paddle-in/paddle-out resort in Ocean City.

The single rooms are very small and the place is dated. Has a nice location, very peaceful at night. Room was clean? The reason for the question mark- we checked under the bed before we left to make sure we weren't leaving anything behind and my husband found a jar of hair conditioner, used, not ours. So obviously wasn't cleaned under there. Otherwise seemed clean enough. Bed was comfortable.

This is the second time we had stayed here. The first time was very pleasant and cheap, but that was a year ago. Apparently they had gotten new management, who are very disrespectful. The rooms are not cleaned properly. There is entirely too much sand all over the room. Our sheets weren’t changed, but flipped inside out. The blankets are cheap and thin. Also there is no service and barely any activities. It’s too pricey to have hardly anything to do and be so far from the beach. This was not, in my opinion, a five-star experience. Do not waste your money on this place when you can get a closer place to the beach for cheaper.

Great vacation spot. Like going back in time retro style. This is our third straight year and we'll be back next year. Cozy cottages with comfortable beds, clean and plenty of hot water. Quiet and lush atmosphere, great for reading or fishing on the beautiful dock, there's kayaking too. Great place for bird watching. Great service and the owners are super nice🙂
