What an outstanding hotel and staff. Nicole went out of her way to make our group feel welcome. There are so many other staff members I wish I could remember the names for. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They do a fun complimentary orange crush bar in the evening, but absolutely try their top notch espresso martini!! We had a scrapbooking retreat weekend with a wonderful conference space. The hotel lobby lounge area was a relaxing social lounge. Also, you can walk right out to the bay and have more fantastic food and drinks at The Lighthouse as you watch the sunset on the bay. We will absolutely go back here and recommend to family and friends. Highly recommended!!

So we originally booked a king bedroom but due to a mirror being broken they gave us a room with two doubles instead. That was fine until I realized that the new room we were given was overlooking the breakfast area which is lighted up 24/7. This window DOES NOT have blackout curtains. So even with all the lights turned off in our room, it was bright… we also indicated on our reservation that we had a child under 1 with us. So it was terrible because our baby kept waking up. The only area we could place the pack n play that we brought was in front of the couch that was in front of that damned window. I had to get creative to use two nursing blankets to cover the sides exposed to the light.
Overall, that was NOT acceptable. We’ve stayed at many Hyatts before and this one was underwhelming. Not sure why they didn’t have blackout blinds knowing that those windows are exposed to light… management needs to change these ASAP. When we brought this up with front desk, they were only offering us $50 voucher to the restaurant that’s next to the hotel.

We were in town for a short stay for a wedding. The room was good enough for a family of 6. No major complaints except bathroom slide door wouldn't close unless locked. We had no issues with finding a parking space even tho I see some reviews saying that was an issue. Parking spaces are a bit tight, we had an SUV, you can make it work for a few days' stay. Otherwise, it was a good stay. I would stay again. Breakfast provided was fine, nothing fancy but good enough.
