I cannot say enough positive things about Snow Hill Rehabilitation Center. After experiences with other facilities, this one truly stands out. From the moment my mother arrived, she was welcomed with warmth, treated with respect, and made to feel genuinely cared for. The entire staff is compassionate, highly knowledgeable, and deeply committed—they consistently go above and beyond to support each patient’s recovery journey.
The environment is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and peaceful, creating the perfect setting for healing. The programs are thoughtfully designed, offering a strong balance of therapy, education, and personal growth. What impressed me most was how personalized the care felt—nothing about it seemed generic or one-size-fits-all.
Family involvement is clearly welcomed here, which made a meaningful difference in our experience. We were included and kept informed throughout the healing process. The staff truly listens—not only to patients but to their families as well—taking time to answer questions, address concerns, and ensure everyone feels heard and supported.
There is also a strong sense of community within the facility. The staff fosters a supportive, judgment-free environment where my mother felt safe, encouraged, and confident as she worked through her recovery challenges.
I am incredibly grateful for the care my mother received at Snow Hill Rehabilitation Center. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehabilitation after surgery—you will be in excellent hands.

New owners are “renovating”, if you can call it that. All staff members are wearing masks to protect themselves from the fumes of painting and dust of pulling up old tiles, etc. The residents are not provided masks, or moved to a different area while work is being done. They are breathing these fumes.
The staff do not treat the patients, or family members for that matter, with respect. They treat them in a demeaning manner. Illness and wounds are not addressed properly. I truly believe they would rather let patients die than have to take care of them properly. It makes them have to work to hard.
It is a sad situation to have a loved one in the care of this facility. Beware!
