We enjoyed our stay here. The price was right for 3 days and 2 nights. Nothing was crowded, everything was clean and the boardwalk was within a walkable reach. We loves the balcony that overlooked the stretch. We got a good glimpse of everything from there. My one and only complaint was, we asked for a bottle of shampoo earlier in the day, I guess they didn't have any, so someone knocked on our door at 10pm to give us the bottle. We were already asleep by then. Next time it's best just to leave it by the door.

Spent 4 nights while attending Oceans Calling in OC. Great location. Carol the front desk supervisor and her staff Mike and Liz were amazing. The lobby was inviting and decorated and very well decorated. The rooms although older are well equipped and have balconies. We had a partial view of the ocean from our balcony. The front desk readily had room essentials for us when we asked. They also had recommendations for restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend if you want closeness to the boardwalk in OC. Close to the inlet and all OC has to offer.

Uhm does appear to be a suite and hotel but it's not by the beach so you will not get a beach view. The bird walk is about 2 minute walk. There is no crosswalk so you will just have to wait until all the cars are somewhat gone before crossing the street.
The room was okay. Again there is no ocean view as you are facing other motels with beachfront views.
Weird but the coffee maker was in the bathroom. Very odd. For 200 dollars there are better places. Do recommend the beach in motel across this hotel as it included breakfast and a beach front for the same price.
