We started this journey when we were hit with the pandemic. Shelves at the grocery store were completely empty and I knew that we needed to do something to be more self sufficient. We began with 5 sweet baby chicks, with eggs in mind. After getting the chickens we decided to try more livestock. Then came a goat, then turkeys, then a pony, then a couple more goats… before you knew it we had an alpaca, a cow and an emu too!
