We specialize in the freshest and most unique sushi and tapas at the beach. With over 40 years combined experience behind the sushi bar we hope to continue to please our loyal followers and also to extend a warm welcome to new ones to come on in, relax and enjoy!
Here at the Flying Fish we do accept and encourage reservations. Keep in mind however we are a small boutique restaurant limited to 35 seats in the off-season ( during the summer we have an additional 16 cozy outside seats) so the sooner you can contact us to reserve a seat the better. Also because of our size constraints we limit party size to 8 or less. If you do have a larger group contact us about our delightful custom catered private dinners.

Great Experience.
This is a fantastic little place tucked away in the corner of a small shopping area right by the Delaware/MD line. The staff here is quite friendly and upbeat. The sushi is incredibly fresh and very well made.
I'd have never found this place had it not been recommended to me, and I'm pleased that I had an opportunity to try it. The prices are reasonable, and the only risk you run by trying it out, is having a new favourite spot to return to.
It is a good idea to have a reservation if you plan to dine in. We were not aware of this and almost missed out as a result.

Awesome Breakfast! We all know that Flying Fish has the best Sushi around, but now they have one of the best breakfast. It is the type of breakfast that you would find in Southern California or South Florida. Breakfast sandwiches & wraps are great and they have a really good açaí bowl. Their breakfast are reasonably priced and a generous portion.

Probably the best sushi I've had in the states. All of the rolls are VERY fresh and the specials are unique. Our waiter (AJ?) was fantastic!
