Great beach hotel. If you want something on the Boardwalk, don't come here and complain. I chose this hotel because it is away from the main Boardwalk area (with lights about a 25 minute drive). Yet, VERY close to the beach. It is in a great family area (arcades, mini golf, the beach). The pool and splash pad is an awesome plus. It does get very busy at times though, I expected that. The fact they have floor dedicated to pet owners is phenomenal. This hotel was clean, staff was polite, rooms were huge, bathrooms were a little small. That's okay considering. I have stayed at many beach hotels up and down the east coast. All in all this is one of the best, if not the best I have stayed at for the price.

I have to comment to a person who checked in and out of your hotel within hours. This hotel is very nice. I have experienced dogs on both my trips and there were never any issues. As far as the beach being across the highway, that is true but there is also a shuttle to take you over. Should actually give this hotel a chance. This was my second time in the hotel and I was able to experience the nice pool and hot tub this time. Was there in August 2024

In the past, we had a bad experience here but after 12 years, we decided to try again since they are pet friendly.
Maintaining a clean space when you are pet friendly is hard. But on night number 2 of our 4 night stay, a PERSON defecated in an elevator. This trail of feces went all the way down our hallway. We alerted the front desk but they did nothing until we complained that after a few hours, it was still all over our hallway. No way was it a dog. That is a dangerous situation and it should have been cleaned up right away.
Room was clean and had no pet odor. Pool was cold but the hot tub was nice. It's in a good location if you like quiet, sort of away from all the traffic of the inlet.
They will hit you with an additional $10 per night "resort fee". So it was actually an extra $40 over the advertised price (pet fee is an additional $30 per night plus another additional $10 in taxes. So technically $50/per night over advertised price) The room simply wasn't worth that much, especially in off season. I don't think we will be back.
