In 2009, Tom & John Knorr joined forces with brewmaster Geoff DeBisschop of Boston, MA and Chef John Scheckells to create the Evolution Craft Brewing Company. They took over an old grocery store on Bi-State Blvd in Delmar just a few miles north of Salisbury, MD. With a passion for creating great beers, they are on an adventure of beer evolution! And they just relocated to a larger space in Salisbury!

The excellence of our beers is the result of our pursuit of extreme quality and resourceful experimentation. We sell various beers at the brewery in Growlers. Because we want you to recycle (and drink more beer!) we will fill you up for just the cost of the beer each time you bring back the empty growler. We hope you will bring your growler back clean so we can get you set up for your next tasting adventure.

Public House restaurant is attached to Evolution Brewing Company.  The Public House was voted "Best New Restaurant in 2012" by Metropolitan Magazine Readers. Located adjacent to the brewery in the southwest side of the building, you will find a unique atmosphere unlike any other local restaurant. It is hard to believe this building once housed the Salisbury Ice Plant and each room was once a big freezer. Now creatively designed with a sleek urban feel, you will find a welcoming environment. A large exposed brick wall in the bar area features a giant chalkboard that showcases fresh cheese and meat selections, creative daily Chef’s features, as well as a listing of available EVO beers. The Public House menu offers seasonally selected items as well as some traditional pub favorites.  Offering the freshest fare possible, the Public House uses local farmers, local watermen, and many other local sourced products. Our belief is simple, keep it pure.

After my 91.5 year old mothers funeral one mile up the street we had a wonderful family lunch!! I found you through a Google search and the reviews seemed promising. Myself, my three siblings and spouses along with our Dad really enjoyed all the dishes we had!! I especially liked the deviled eggs app (Very creative!! Great flavor) and my crab cake platter with string beans & potatoes was absolutely perfectly Eastern Shore delicious! The atmosphere was wonderful and warm!! Our server, Kyle, is a great asset to your restaurant. First, I am always impressed when a server can take an order without writing it down - which he did for our drinks! He was very charming and brought out refills as needed. The meals all arrived at the same time and everyone got what they ordered without the 'did your order the......' from the food runner. Thanks again for taking such great care of our table of 8 on a difficult day! We may even be back for the Oyster Fest next month!!

Good beer and good times! This is a popular spot for a reason. The service is good, the food is delicious, and the drinks are awesome.

Evo has well known beers that are tried and true. At the brewery they offer some cool additions to those staples such as wine and mixed drinks. You might not expect some cool takes on classic drinks like their elderflower old fashioned or their assortment of crushes.

The same goes for their brunch menu. They’ve got some cool Eastern Shore takes like the lump crab cake sandwich and the crabby pizza.

This is a great spot and well worth a visit.

Tried this restaurant per a recommendation of a friend. We’re not big drinkers, my husband did try a sour beer. It was pretty good. The service was great, our server was helpful and friendly. The food was tasty. The Margarita pizza could have been better. The crust of the pizza had a nice crisp but there could have been more cheese on the pizza and fresh slices of tomato and basil. We also got the rockfish with imperial sauce and it was excellent, great taste and hefty portion. The dessert was wonderful. Had Oreo cookie red velvet cake cheesecake with a side of mocha ice cream. Was a great pairing. The only issue I had was there was a few flies in the restaurant which can be concerning. And the temperature seemed humid inside the restaurant, which have our table a sticky feel.
