In 2009, Tom & John Knorr joined forces with brewmaster Geoff DeBisschop of Boston, MA and Chef John Scheckells to create the Evolution Craft Brewing Company. They took over an old grocery store on Bi-State Blvd in Delmar just a few miles north of Salisbury, MD. With a passion for creating great beers, they are on an adventure of beer evolution! And they just relocated to a larger space in Salisbury!
The excellence of our beers is the result of our pursuit of extreme quality and resourceful experimentation. We sell various beers at the brewery in Growlers. Because we want you to recycle (and drink more beer!) we will fill you up for just the cost of the beer each time you bring back the empty growler. We hope you will bring your growler back clean so we can get you set up for your next tasting adventure.
Public House restaurant is attached to Evolution Brewing Company. The Public House was voted "Best New Restaurant in 2012" by Metropolitan Magazine Readers. Located adjacent to the brewery in the southwest side of the building, you will find a unique atmosphere unlike any other local restaurant. It is hard to believe this building once housed the Salisbury Ice Plant and each room was once a big freezer. Now creatively designed with a sleek urban feel, you will find a welcoming environment. A large exposed brick wall in the bar area features a giant chalkboard that showcases fresh cheese and meat selections, creative daily Chef’s features, as well as a listing of available EVO beers. The Public House menu offers seasonally selected items as well as some traditional pub favorites. Offering the freshest fare possible, the Public House uses local farmers, local watermen, and many other local sourced products. Our belief is simple, keep it pure.
