I'll start off with the good. (Overall its mostly good.) The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are clean and spacey. Everything worked as it should and the location is right on the beach with quick access to the boardwalk. We stayed 3 days and only on the 3rd day decided to eat at the hotels Victorian Restaurant. The menu is relatively short but the options are fairly fancy. However the pricing is outrageous and when we were there the entire Restaurant was neatly empty. There was one other person in there. Despite that, it took around 45 minutes to receive our food. My girlfriends food was completely cold by the time it came. Both of our meals were very mediocre and with 1 appetizer and 2 entrees we paid a little over $98. We opted for the check and a box so we could reheat the food in our room. So I'd totally recommend the hotel but suggest avoiding the restaurant completely.

We stayed here for our Anniversary every year since we were married. The ocean view rooms are very nice and private. The indoor pool is nice on cool days. The beach is not crowded as we go in late September. Sorry to see it taken over by Hilton. We’ll try, but sure prices will rise substantially. Hoping they keep the prices in line with the old Dunes.

Love it. Spacious rooms. The 3rd floor decks have unobstructed views of the ocean, but no privacy while u sit outdoors. Easy walk to the tram car/end of boardwalk and lots of food places. Plenty of parking.
