Had a quick 2 night stay here, and everything was wonderful! Our room was freezing due to an out of control a/c unit, but the staff was super helpful and fixed it immediately. Front desk staff was friendly. Free coffee and hot cocoa in the lobby 24 hours and ice machine in the lobby too. Location is phenomenol! Right next to the boardwalk on the end near 27th st; took a walk all the way to the end and made it back again. Can't wait to stay here again!

Had to move 2 times in a 8 day stay, first room had electrical issues that were dimming the lights and we had to move rooms at 10:45pm when maintenance couldn’t determine a fix. Moved to another room that they didn’t even bother to check had working air conditioner, so 80 degree heat outside with 80% plus humidity and we had no air conditioning in our room, had to buy our own fan to get some air movement in the room. Moved to another room after they again couldn’t fix the air conditioner unit. 3rd room was issue free. What was supposed to be a nice relaxing anniversary week turned into a giant disaster that caused more issues than anything. Upon checking out we were told since we booked through booking and not the hotel direct they couldn’t give us a refund, but offered a 25% discount on a night for a future stay. After calling booking to get an answer, we’re told the dunes never called booking to try for a refund so they lied about that. We had to ask the front desk to get any type of refund for our inconvenience of moving room multiple times. Unsure if I will ever consider staying here again. For the manager to lie to our faces about contacting booking for a refund is complete and totally disrespectful and uncalled for. Never even offered a receipt for our records.

Checking in was very easy,staff extremely friendly and courteous,grounds were spotless,as well as the rooms,we had a little problem with the TV called the front desk and the maintenance guy was there before I could hang up the phone and fixed the problem right away,.hotel is one half block away from beach , boardwalk,and tramcar,I will definitely stay here again ,and recommend it to anyone. THANK YOU DUNES
