Had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back. Easy parking. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating, especially Pat at the front desk. You can’t beat the warm cookies on the way in. Our family tagged along with my husband for his business trip and it was the perfect place for all of us to relax but also for him to get things done. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed, plus incredible views and breezy balconies. The pool room is beautiful and warm with plenty of comfortable seating and a hot tub that’s raised above the pool so you can watch your kids while you enjoy the bubbles. The hotel is on the beach and in walking distance to subs, liquor/beer/wine shop, tacos, sushi, a locally-owned convenience store and plenty of other businesses to explore. Highly recommend!

One-Star Review: Charged Incorrectly and Treated Poorly – Never Again
I stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in Ocean City expecting a relaxing getaway, but instead I left frustrated and completely disappointed — especially due to serious issues with my receipt and billing.
When I checked out, I noticed extra charges on my receipt that were never explained or authorized. There were vague “resort fees” and a room service charge I never used. When I brought it up to the front desk, they were incredibly dismissive. The employee barely looked at the receipt and acted like I was being difficult for even questioning it.
I asked to speak to a manager, but was told “they’re not available right now” and that someone would call me later. No one ever called. I followed up twice and still got no clear answer or resolution. It felt like they were just hoping I’d give up.
On top of the billing mess, the room itself wasn’t even worth what they charged. It was musty, dirty, and noisy, with stained towels and an air conditioner that barely worked. The bed sheets didn’t feel fresh, and the balcony was full of sand and cigarette butts.
This hotel may have a decent location, but that’s literally the only thing going for it. Poor customer service, shady billing practices, and a complete lack of accountability made this one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had.
DoubleTree, do better. I won’t be coming back.

Edited - Heard back from the property to be accused of all the issues of my stay being my fault. Zero resolve. Very dismissive. - First time to OCMD and was less than satisfied with this property. Water dripped on my head and bed each night. Put in a service request to no avail. Bathroom lost all power and when reported I was treated like an uneducated woman. The bathroom has severe water damage on the ceiling, to the point the of hanging paint and sheet rock, that dropped dust and debris continuously. Room smelled of mold and irritated my asthma. We actually checked out a day early and fore went our paid for event due to the inconvenience of the room. Emailed the hotel with pictures and received zero response. Hilton used to be a brand of choice. My mind is being changed quickly.
