Delmarva's Maritime past of shipwrecks and piracy is vividly brought back to life here at DiscoverSea Museum. The museum features an ever- changing "edutainment" exhibit. It houses one of the most comprehensive collections of shipwreck artifacts on the Delmarva Peninsula. There are thousands of items on display ranging from gold and Silver bars, coins, weapons, china and items used aboard early day sailing ships. The seashells, marine life tanks and our working lab will help to educate guests of all ages about the aspects of treasures from our ocean's depths.

DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum is an ever-changing exhibit that expands and diversifies with the acquisitions of new artifacts as they are recovered. Our collection of shipwreck and recovered artifacts is one of the largest in the Mid-Atlantic and contains shipwreck artifacts both regional and worldwide.

Through your DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum visit, you will travel through a hands-on experience, which will enable you to shake hands with history.

Admission is free.

Calm little museum on the second floor of a souvenir shop- well worth the visit. Shipwreck relics found by the man who owns the museum & his dive team. Plus it’s free. Again, well worth the visit.

So many artifacts and very educational exhibits packed into a low profile space, with information panels about famous shipwreck historical stories, displays of discoveries with great varieties among beautiful corals, diorama of discovery sites and more. It took me 2h to browse through, but I could easily spend another 2h. There’s a gift shop downstairs, where my 6y old got to spend some time.

A true gem! (Sorry the owner prefers no pictures on internet)

An incredible collection of shipwreck and Colonial settlement artifacts packed in a small museum room. Free admission with a donation jar available. The owner, Dale, has spent over 3 decades locating and collecting rare items discovered throughout the coastal waters of Delaware and elsewhere. His knowledge and love of history is infectious. Too many fascinating items to mention in a review. Give this place a visit if ever nearby! Loved it.
