Cool vibes and everything, the woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I did have an issue with my nose piercingthat was uneven to my other nostril. I called and was easily able to get a full refund. Wonderful customer service and understanding to my situation, just kinda bummed out I couldn't come back to get it redone. (I live out of state and can't make the drive just for a piercing) Overall a cool place, just a tad bit expensive.

Came here to get a nose piercing. Was so excited, then it came to choosing jewelry. I said to the guy owner I'd like a cute little hoop, (mind you I am a young girl and not a professional, so I should not override professionalism and or standard practice.) Because if you Google best first jewlery to use it states a corkscrew and a L shaped.... it also clearly states ones to AVOID which is #1 A HOOP! This states because it moves too much and is prone to creating piercing bumps and infection and not healing properly. While fast forward a month and here a bump came, and it just got worse and worse no matter what I did... fast forward months and months sof walking around with the worse looking nose, and calls to them saying it will get better just keep it clean, it never did.. He swore it has nothing to do with the fact that he had initially put in a ring. Or the fact that I thought I was being initially giving a titanium piece ( which i googled the best to use first for least risk for infection) and it turned out to be steel which he later revealed. I had to go to a professional nose doctor which said, it could cause me to require surgery if I didn't take it out immediately. So I took it out, and with a disgusting nasty looking bump and cleaning, months later it finally went away. I had nothing to show for it. And what was supposed to be a happy and exciting time, turned into extreme trauma of ever getting another and piercing cost of course.

I had such a great experience with Ara today! I am visiting Ocean City on vacation for the next week and had a bit of a piercing emergency stemming from a piercing I had done back at home a week and a half ago. She was able to gently change out my old jewelry to the proper size and resolved my problem quickly and with expert care. She was such a professional and was extremely knowledgeable about her craft. I wish I lived closer. Would highly recommend Ara for anyone considering a piercing.
