This hotel is definitely one of the more affordable options, and we liked that it was away from the busy boardwalk, it made for a quieter, more peaceful stay. The location is convenient with a bus stop nearby, and our room was pretty spacious, which we really appreciated.
That said, cleanliness could use some improvement. We noticed crumbs from previous guests under the couch and near the bed, and the toilet bowl had marks when we arrived. Housekeeping came in to restock towels and toilet paper, but for some reason, they left our trash and dirty towels in the room. The shower curtain was also very thin, so water ended up all over the bathroom floor after every shower. There was also no body wash provided in the bathroom.
Overall, the price and location are good, but a little more attention to cleaning and small details would make a big difference.

Terrible customer service. Choice hotel system screwed up our reservation modification. Kept getting bounced back and forth on the phone
between the front desk of this hotel and guest services at choice hotels.
This hotel was not apologetic or nice. Did not try to rectify it with a night that we were already charged for anyway because of the botched modification. And choice hotels need to train their customer service reps too. Too much inconsistency.
This is a franchise hotel so the owner sucks and needs to train their employees to be nice and apologetic and to rectify issues that the choice hotels website screws up. And be nicer and apologize. And choice hotels needs to get on this owner to get their act together. Formal complaint has been filed. This owner Lost money for the entire company and I hope loses more until they are brought to heel or replaced.
And the owners response below proves they don’t give a crap about their customers. No responsibility taken. No apology. No nothing. Don’t go here.

Stayed 2 nights while visiting friends. The service was warm and friendly, the room clean and had standard amenities. I took one star off for the breakfast. The breakfast room was clean and I was happy to see an attendant standing within view HOWEVER.. the food is really subpar. I can’t imagine how destitute I would have to be to really settle in for a meal. I know everything cost but if you’re going to provide a breakfast please make it memorable and make it count. It really was a bad attempt.
