Location is great. Staff is terrible. I have been staying here for 12 years and after last year and this year of them switching the room I booked and then offering zero credit we won’t stay here again. The staff doesn’t care about you, just that pay for your room up front. We had picture hangers over a bed with no pictures. Just metal sticking out of the wall waiting to cut you. Parking is terrible because they let the Beach House property they own as well park in their lot so the people paying higher room prices are left without a parking spot. Even with using the abandoned hotel next doors lot it isn’t enough. Very sad to see the decline in service over the years. The staff used to be consistent and the same. Now every summer it’s new people with zero customer service skills. Bathrooms have mold. People smoking on their balconies when it’s clearly stated it’s not allowed. But they do nothing about it. 12 years staying here and this will be our last.

Rooms could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival, floors dirty. Kitchen in Cabana suites very convenient, loved the large deck. Location was great, free chair rentals very nice amenity! Outdoor pool big and very clean! (Indoor pool not so much). Parking can be an issue. Bring your own brooms to clean up sand on hard floors during stay. Staff very friendly. Overall great stay!

A nice place, but be prepared to get your hands dirty. We had a constantly running toilet our first night, and instead of fixing the toilet with a 10 dollar part, they showed us how to reach in and re-seat the faulty flapper valve ourselves. His fingers with black stuff on them when he was done. So I got to do that about 30 times over the course of the week. Absolutely disgusting. Also ended up with the runs, probably from sticking my hands in the toilet tank all week. What was my favorite of the 10 or so places I’ve stayed down there is now on my no-fly list. It’s a shame. Nice pool area and otherwise nice rooms and service. But never again. I mentioned this in my post-visit survey, but they either don’t read those or don’t care what is said in them. No worries.
