Our stay was wonderful! Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was great, I would recommend folks to leave the kids in the dine area if you are waiting for the waffle machine! Other then that, I definitely could have saved a few bucks by just eating breakfast here! Kitchen crew was amazing aswell! Pool was nice and clean.

Our first stay and we are totally impressed. Best budget friendly hotel. With a reasonable pet fee. All the feel of the expensive ones without breaking the bank. Love the lament floors, large spotless rooms with all the amenities.

I booked a 7-night stay with points at this property. Upon check-in, I felt welcomed and was looking forward to my stay. On the third night of my stay, around 12am-1am, I was in my room (213) and noticed the AC stopped running, I noticed because the sound that it made I could no longer hear it. I went to the unit and tried to get it back on, I went to the control panel on the wall and tried to turn it on but it did not turn on. It was very late and I was actually on my way to sleep, the other guest in the room was already asleep so I decided to wait till morning to address this issue. The front desk said someone would come it to check out the issue. The maintenance employee told us that it would take him 15 minutes to replace the AC unit or we could move rooms. Moving rooms would have been a big inconvenience because we had things to do so we opted for him to fix it within the time frame he gave us. It took over an hour for it to be fixed. When we would come back to the room to check the status of the room, sometimes we would find the door wide open with our items exposed to anyone inside the hotel to take. Major security issues. After he was done, we notice a beer can tab in our room. Now I am the only one who occupied the room that was 21+, all other guests were 18 & under. I do not drink and if I did it most especially wouldn't be beer. I'm not sure how or why that was found after the maintenance man was in the room but since our door was left opened, I guess it could of really been anyone. I decided that after all this I'd prefer to check-out of my reservation earlier so I went to the front desk and asked to modify my reservation, the nice front desk agent said I'd have to call choice to modify it. I called choice and asked for them to modify it and they told me they could not do so and asked about my stay, I briefly told them the situations that occurred and said that I'd only like to check-out and if possible receive points for the nights I did not stay. They told me that I'd just need to physically check-out with the front desk and to call choice back and they will be able to give me the points back. The next morning around 9am-10am, before check-out time. I went to the front desk, the employee did not have a name tag on, I informed them that I would be checking out early so I asked to be checked out of the system. She told me that I was checked out. I left out, eventually I called choice back later that day. It took about 15 minutes but I was able to get the points back for my remaining nights, however the choice representative also told me that the front desk manager said that I could never stay there again. Mainly the reason why I am typing up this review. I called the hotel to speak with said manager because even though I felt like I'd never come back to the hotel again, I just felt like that is something very wrong to say. I work at a hotel myself, a choice hotel as well. I felt like what I asked for was the bare minimum based on the fact that my rooms AC broke in the middle of the night. While on the phone with the manager, she disclosed that she was the one who checked me out and I did not say anything about my issues so she felt I should never stay there again. I didn't understand why she felt the need to be disrespectful to me while I was talking to her on the phone, she abruptly ended the phone conversation because every excuse she gave I came back with a respectful and sound response so I guess that aggravated her. She said that the ACs are old so sometimes the go out....I guess that's my fault or concern? Totally, inappropriate to say to a guest. She claimed the choice representative said I asked for all the nights to be refunded but I did not. Only the nights I did not stay because at the end of the day we all have bad times in our lives (I actually was going through something) so I decided to show them grace but was met with a bunch of hostility & disrespect. The point of this review is for the FD manager to understand that her actions were mostly VERY disrespectful and uncalled for, do better.
