This is my second time staying at this property. The biggest positive about this property is location, location, location. Everything is within walking distance; the beach, shopping and food options. There are two different buildings, one with a city view (which you can still see the ocean from) and the main building (where you check in) with scenic ocean views. The staff was friendly throughout our stay. If I could make a few suggestions: replace the sofa/pullout bed. The cushion are flat and the fabric has seen better days. In the bathroom the shower surround, the drop ceiling, the heater and old bathroom fan needs to be replaced. The rust on the drop ceiling connectors can't be covered up by paint anymore; it's showing through. The shower surround also looks like it has been painted and the paint is pealing in some areas and some of the shower fixtures were loose or missing like the clothesline. Both the heater and the bathroom exhaust fan have seen better days also. The balcony and the chairs out there could also use some TLC as well. Overall the room need some TLC. That being said, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I had a pleasant stay with my family. Last but not least the on-site parking was very convenient.

Journey the front desk clerk was amazing!! She made our stay memorable and welcoming. Everyday a smile was upon her face, never rude but professional and pleasant. If she's not the manager she should be!! Hotel and Rooms could be updated, not the cleanest, not the dirtiest except for the curtains. A/ C was falling apart, I had to patch that up myself, be sure to bring your own cleaning wipes. Need a paint job the entire hotel and maintenance is failing, doors are cracked or falling apart at foundation. Breakfast was great, no issues with that. This Comfort inn has 2 separate buildings, the main bldg has the breakfast & the other bldg has an indoor pool. Would I stay again, probably yes, because of the view from our room, and the kindness of Journey and the kind housekeepers I ran into on multiple occasions. Patty

Place is great if anyone wants to be close to the boardwalk. The front desk and staff were accommodating as well.
My only complaint would be the light coming in from the street. I was in a room adjacent to street parking on the 1st floor (RM 115). The picture I posted was around 1am. I'm sure if you were staying in another room in the property you should be fine. Rooms are fairly quiet. Our room was next to the pool and didn't hear any noise. Overall pretty decent spot.
