Pros:
- Good location
- No issues with staff
- They give you a paper with some useful nearby locations (like the ACME and eateries)
- Kitchenette had glassware & dish soap
- Nice sunset view from balcony
- Balcony could cut off sound well when closed up
- The rooms can be connected, so if you're traveling with a large group, that could be fun. It was a double door, so even if you knew your neighbor, they couldn't just come into your room.
Cons:
- The building is old 🧓🏚👵
- The "clean" sheets/ mattress cover for the pull-out couch bed had a smell 🤢
- No air conditioning
- Shower at a time when you can get hot water
- Housekeeping does not come everyday and they ask you to reuse towels
- Live music from balcony (I liked the sound during the day, but with no air conditioning, it made sleeping with the balcony OPEN impossible)
This place is not family-friendly. If you are an adult traveling without children, who also enjoys the heat and will spend most of your time partying or at the beach, then this is a good match for you.

Huge disappointment. For one, they advertise FREE PARKING, not true, its $15 per day! The hotel looks amazing. Its freshly painted and clean looking. We checked in a bit early, and that was a plus as we were headed to boardwalk Rock. Upon returning, the trouble began. My friend took a quick shower, then I went in and there was no hot water. so I waited. A bit later I turned the water back on, no warm water but the sink water was warm, just not the shower. I let the water run at least 20 minutes, which went against my belief of conservation, only to give up and take a cold shower. NOT HAPPY. I politely reported this the next morning to Donna, at the front desk and she came back at me with a few excuses, I then asked if they could clean our room and was told that would be an extra charge. So I asked if they could send some extra towels to our room. We went to our Concerts for the 2nd day. I received a text while on the way stating that there would be an extra charge if they went into our room while we were gone. I responded to leave towels at the front counter and I would take them up on my return. Which I did, then I also mentioned the water issue to a gal named Erika. She kept explaining that management decided to fix the elevator and the boiler was next. Wait!. What? I paid for a room to take a hot shower. SO then she goes on and on and told me to let the water run for thirty minutes, I told her I was done talking to her and I was going to try that (again) I was NOT rude, and I never Cursed at either of these gals at the front desk. I spoke to manager the next am, Jessica, who was polite, made a face when I repeated what her employees had told me, she informed me that she was aware and had already spoke with Donna about how she handled things. She then said to contact Wyndham as my reservation was booked through them.( Donna had also told me that) I did let the word "SHIT" slip out and it was not said to her or directed at her or anyone. She politely reprimanded me as to not use profanity. I laughed and said that was an accident as I am not aware and it just comes out sometimes. We chatted a bit and I left. I received a text stating that since I had been charged the $100 deposit at check in, that she would not charge me the additional amount for the 2nd night stay, the first night was paid up front.
Now I get home and there is a survey from CHOICE (who acquired the property after I had made my reservation) (previously owned by Wyndham) I answered honestly and referred to Erika and Donna as IDIOTS because neither of them attempted to fix the situation. This was IN THE SURVEY. I received and email response to my CHOICE hotels survey from the manager, Jessica, that was very unprofessional. When I responded, she sent me another one trying to make it sound like I was cussing at her employees and calling them names, which I did not do. She also told me that Choice only sends the surveys and they do not own the Hotel. LOL I have since reported her to CHOICE as they confirmed ownership. There is a case on them now with all of this information and the emails and texts are accessible by all. I also made it clear to choice to access the front desk surveillance to prove that I was never rude to anyone. I also told Jessica to not contact me again. I had not even planned to do a negative review on them until she started e-mailing me. I answered a survey honestly and she had no right to reply to my survey the way that she did (according to CHOICE)
ALSO NOTE, allergies were KICKING the entire stay, we both were sniffly. Which went away the next day on the drive home, go figure! The sliding screen to the quaint little balcony was crossed on the track, and only one side opened, the curtains were hanging off the wall as the attachment at the end was broken. A housekeeping issue? Maintenance? who knows but this place is absolutely the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. If they were my last resort, I would sleep in my car!!

Never even got to stay here. Don’t ever want too. Was told I wouldn’t be charged for my room until I got to the resort. Booked in February. A month later in March, I had a 250.00 charge. When I inquired I was told it was for the first nights stay. I said why one month after booking are you charging my card when I had in writing I would not be charged till I stayed. I was basically told that was their policy to charge the first night and once I give my card info they have consent to charge whenever they wanted too. I argued that I had in writing I wouldn’t be charged till my date of travel and they cannot just randomly charge me one month after booking out of no where but they took no accountability were extremely rude and unprofessional.
