I stay here every year. Always have a good experience. Our microwave wasn't working and within minutes we had a new one. The floors were clean, bed was clean, staff was friendly. It's close to the beach. I've realized the less you expect the better you receive. Each year they welcome us back with smiles. When you're pleasant they are pleasant. See you again next year!

We were apprehensive about the Cabana because of the reviews, but we had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is incredibly close to the beach, maybe about a five minute walk, which was amazing. Parking was easy and seamless. Our room itself was clean, with stains here and there. There was a strong odor of cigarettes but that’s not necessarily the hotel’s fault; each door has a no smoking sign, so people are just ignoring the rules. We loved the Sahara cafe for breakfast, which was right behind the Cabana. This was not a bad trip at all.

Absolutely disgusting motel. To start our door had been kicked in previously. When brought up to the hotel worker his only reply was it closes. 30 minutes later that same employee used his master key to try to walk in to the room while I was changing. Next thing we noticed is the awful smell of mold which was only overpowered by the smell of cigarettes. After that we noticed certain ceiling tiles were sinking in on itself. The last straw was finding a ton of sand inside the folded sheets. Next, the paper thin walls allowed my girlfriend and I to hear everything in the rooms next to us and above us so don’t expect any privacy at all. When we went to the front desk and asked for someone to clean the room or for a new room the employee got an attitude and checked us out that night leaving us stranded late at night without a place to stay. This is an absolutely horrific place to stay matched only by its lack of support from staff. If you value the health and safety of you and your loved ones stay as far away from this place as possible.
